What is Texas Hold’em?

Texas Hold is a style of poker in which each player is dealt two cards facedown and all the players share five cards dealt face up.

Peninsula Wrestling Bunco Night

What is Bunco?

Bunco is a game of dice, played in rounds. Players take turn rolling the dice and trying to accumulate as many points as possible to win each round. The game is played at tables of four in competing teams of two.

Clackamas Community College, Randall Hall Gymnasium

Times

8-9:30 a.m. Registration and weigh-ins, Randall Hall Gymnasium. All wrestlers must register prior to 9:30 a.m.

Note:

high school and openweigh-ins may be done at club, high school and college sitesand called in Friday evening to Josh Rhoden, 503-594-3275 or joshr@clackamas.edu. All must register prior to 9:30 a.m.

Matches

Matches will consist of three one-minute rounds with a thirty second rest between each round. Elementary matches will be three 30 second rounds.

Rules

Only takedowns count as points. Five takedown difference constitutes a pin.

Tournament Type

Elementary will be pooled based on age, weight and grade in school. They will compete in a round-robin format. High school and open competitors will wrestle in a double elimination, line bracket tournament.

Entry Fee

$20 per person, payable at registration and weigh-ins.

Awards

Individual awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. (Awards for all Elementary Competitors)

Coach Pittman will issue each family a check before the event.  However, you may use your fundraising money to help pay for club dues.  Butter Braid orders are due back on October 19 and must have all the sales money with the order form.  Please put your wrestler’s name and phone number on the order form so you can be contacted when your order arrives.
